Dr. McLean Sheperd

McLean Sheperd graduated as an Echols Scholar with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia. She chose the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston to pursue her degree in medicine where she graduated as valedictorian. She went on to complete a residency in dermatology and a fellowship in dermatopathology, both at MUSC. She is board certified in these dual fields of skin care.

With over 10 years in private practice, Dr. Sheperd has established a reputation for reciprocal care where patient and practitioner are partners in the healing process. In addition to Western medicine, Dr. Sheperd has studied vibrational and intuitive medicine, botanicals, yogic philosophy and Ayurvedic medicine. She has worked with masters of these disciplines at home and abroad, and is passionate about continuing her research in the healing arts by investigating various approaches to wellness. She offers a unique perspective and approach that trusts the innate ability of each human being to heal and be well.
